Sigrid Gailis

Sigrid has more than 35 years’ experience in the patent industry, with expertise in all procedural aspects of the patenting and design registration processes. She has a comprehensive background in filing and prosecuting applications in Australia, New Zealand and abroad, co-ordinating foreign filing programs and applications under the Paris Convention, and filing and prosecution of international applications under the PCT. She also has extensive experience in database maintenance and patent management software, assisting a broad range of clients with administering their IP portfolios.

Sigrid previously worked in various roles at several of Australia’s largest patent and trade mark attorney firms, where she was responsible for managing large client portfolios, as well as helping to develop firmwide operational policies and establishing training programs for new staff.
